Telecel Apologises For Network Challenges

Telecel has apologised for the disruption of service that their subscribers faced earlier this morning. We only got to know of the problems around 7 AM but we could not verify how widespread this problem was.

Telecel seems to have restored the service around midday and released the following statement:

We apologise for the temporary outage affecting prepaid services earlier. This was due to some scheduled maintenance work which has now been completed. All services are now up and running. Any inconvenience caused is sincerely regretted.
