If you want to tell a good story, you need to make sure you use the right channel. For anything that has a hint of online relevance, that usually means embracing mobile devices.

Which explains the steady adoption of mobile applications. School Sports Network, the platform that most people easily recognise as SSN, has introduced a mobile app to complement the work it has been doing with the web platform.

Currently available for Android only (SSN has promised an iOS version has been submitted to Apple and is being reviewed), the SSN app offers access to all of SSN’s content, with push notifications for the latest articles. There’s also an option to bookmark article which can be accessed offline.

There are also options to share content on social media and through other platforms and just like the web version of SSN, you can comment on any article.

You can download the SSN app from the Play Store by following this link.

65% of visitors to the SSN website use mobile devices to access the platform and according to Chenje Katanda, the founder and CEO of SSN, the app is a response to this data. He mentioned that SSN’s objective was to improve the way users interact with their content.

SSN becomes the latest news platform to introduce a mobile app after Soccer 24 launched an app for its news platform and a digital magazine available through an Android app.
